About zyarcade

Free browser games that open instantly, play well on a phone or a desktop, and come with rules and strategy written by people who actually play them.

What zyarcade is

zyarcade is a collection of classic and casual games that run entirely in your web browser. There is nothing to install, no account to create and no download to wait for. Open a page and the game is ready, whether you are on a laptop at work, a tablet on the sofa or a phone on the train.

We focus on games with lasting appeal: solitaire and other card games, logic puzzles, traditional board games played against the computer, word games, and short arcade challenges. Many of these games are centuries old and belong to everyone. Our job is to make each one feel good to play on a modern screen and to explain it clearly.

How we build games

You can read the details on our How we build and test games page.

Rules and guides written by hand

Each game page includes how to play on desktop and mobile, the full rules in our own words, strategy tips, some history and common variants. We write this text ourselves and review it before a game goes live, because a good explanation is part of a good game.

Your privacy

Games run on your device. High scores and saved games are stored in your own browser and are never uploaded to us. We do not ask for names, email addresses or accounts. The site is supported by advertising; our privacy policy explains what that involves and the choices you have.

Sister site

zyarcade is made by the same independent developer as computezy, a free collection of calculators and tools that follows the same principles: fast, private and free to use.
